We live in a world of vibration. We hear because our ears
interpret vibration. We see because our eyes interpret vibration. We ourselves
are vibrating. It’s all about vibration.
And I’m realizing that my vibration was low. I allowed my
own vibration to be influenced by other peoples’. It’s left me feeling weak and
unsure. Not knowing what I want.
But the good news is, all this dancing has raised my
vibrations. After dancing Middle Eastern Garden, an hour and a half of
free-dance based on ancient steps danced by women in their kitchens and their
gardens for countless generations, I feel fabulous. I feel feminine and centered, powerful and connected.
This is where I want to live. In this vibration hat is about
joy and delight, personal power and wholeness.
We strive so much in our lives to be individuals, to stand
out from the crowd. We want to be unique even as we want to ‘fit in’, and do
what society expects of us.
But there is strength in traditions. There is surety, and a
knowing of your place in the world. In taking your place in the community.
The trick somehow, is to take care of your own vibration- to
nurture yourself, to pay attention to how you feel. To live in your own power.
To remember that you carry the divine within you, and it is your responsibility
to live your best life.
And yet stay connected with the wider community. To dance
together, one beautiful dancing body of strength and unity.
